ABOUT MS. CLANCY

Ms. Clancy was born and raised in the Okanagan, but moved to Prince George for the great opportunity of teaching Visual Arts at D.P. Todd.

Being an artist most of her life, she specializes in illustration, painting, and sculpting. Her mediums of choice are acrylic paint and clay sculpture. She also greatly enjoys using Prismacolor Illustration Markers.

She is very inspired by Art Deco and neo-traditional art styles, which heavily influence her style of work. She has experience in creature/character and costume creation, tattoo design and storybook illustration, as well as Art Therapy. When Ms. Clancy isn't teaching, she is creating art in her studio.

She also loves animals, the outdoors, travelling, and trying new cuisines.

She has a black Scottish Fold mix cat named Beanie, and a golden husky/lab named Max.

Ms. Clancy created the N.E.S.T. program, and is also the SOGI/LGBTQ2IA+ advocate at D.P. Todd.

She also heavily advocates for mental health of students and staff within the school.

Ms. Clancy's pronouns are she/her/they/them.
